THE DESIGNER

At first glance, a girl growing up in the vast desert of west Texas would not appear to have a paved road into the fashion industry, but with her mother being a studio artist she was introduced to the visual arts through museums, traveling, and nature’s inspiration. It was on a trip to San Francisco’s De Young Museum at age 12 that Elizabeth fell in love with fashion and decided it would forever be her livelihood.

She has since pursued her passion through an education at the University of North Texas, graduating with honors and a BFA in Fashion Design. Elizabeth's industry experience was expanded at the high-end company of Nha Khanh. During her time there, she worked her way from intern to designer's assistant and was placed over the custom Atelier department. Through attending fittings and working with custom pieces Elizabeth was able to finesse her handwork skills and strengthen her eye for skillful fit and design.

Elizabeth is continually inspired by nature and architecture, as well as its juxtaposition. Her works are always founded on the principle of thoughtful design and craftsmanship. These two standards drew her to the bridal industry; a niche market that has always called for exceptional quality. Elizabeth now serves brides all across Texas, creating one of a kind dresses by hand.
